Suggested Operating Conditions
- Minimum bed depth: 700 mm
- Service flow rate: 5 to 40 BV*/h
- Regenerant:
- HCl:
- Concentration: 2 to 5 %
- Level: 110 %
- H₂SO₄:
- Concentration: 0.5 to 0.8 %
- Level: 110 %
- HCl:
- Regenerant flow rate: 2 to 8 BV
- Minimum contact time: 30 minutes
- Rinse requirements: About 10 BV
*1 BV (Bed Volume) = 1 m³ solution per m³ resin
Conditioning
IMAC HP336 is ready to use if stored at a temperature of less than 25°C, protected from UV radiation, and used within 6 months of the production date. A 20 bed-volume rinse with the water to be treated is required at commissioning.
Quality Control
All Imac HP resins are manufactured and purified for non-industrial applications. Batches are analyzed for physical and chemical properties, substance release in treated water (including TOC), and total microbial count.
