Applications
IMAC HP555 is recommended for waters containing more sulphate than nitrate, where it offers a higher operating capacity compared to conventional resins. The relative affinities towards anions are: NO₃⁻ > SO₄²⁻ > Cl⁻ > HCO₃⁻. The nitrate level in the effluent will not exceed the influent level after breakthrough.
Commissioning
IMAC HP555 is ready to use, provided it is stored at < 25°C, protected from UV radiation, and used within 6 months of the production date. Upon commissioning, perform a full regeneration cycle followed by a rinse with at least 20 bed volumes of water.
