Product identification

TRILITE® MC-10 is a UPS, SAC (Strong Acid Cation) gel-type ion exchange resin. It is a highly cross-linked product with a Sulfonic acid functional group. It is supplied in its Na⁺ form and can also be supplied in its H⁺ form.

Regeneration (for Na⁺ form)

  • Regenerant: HCl or H₂SO₄
  • Concentration:
    • HCl: 4~10%
    • H₂SO₄: 1~4%
  • Level: 50~200 g/ℓ
  • Flow Rate: 2~10 m/h
  • Rinse Requirement: 2~6 BV

Applications

TRILITE® MC-10 is used for softening, demineralization, and processes such as lysine production, sugar refining, and catalyst reactions. It can be used in Condensate Polishing Plants (CPP) in conjunction with TRILITE® MA-10.
