Summary
Product Identification
Product Name: Tulsion® A-62 MP N Type: PREMIUM GRADE MACROPOROUS STRONG BASE TYPE I ANION EXCHANGE RESIN
Tulsion® A-62 MP N is a premium grade, macro-porous, Type I strong base anion exchange resin with excellent physical and chemical stability. It is suitable for use across a wide range of pH and temperature conditions. A food-grade version for potable water treatment is also available. This resin is specifically effective at removing nitrate from water containing other anionic impurities and is highly resistant to organic fouling. Tulsion® A-62 MP N is NSF 61 certified and manufactured to achieve low VOCs. Pre-conditioning before use is recommended.

Testing & Pre-conditioning
Resin sampling and testing follow standard procedures: ASTMD-2187 and IS-7330, 1998. Pre-conditioning steps include:
- Backwashing the resin bed to expand it by 50%-60% for 10 minutes using process water.
- Soaking the resin in 2 BV of DI water for a minimum of 8 hours.
- Regenerating with a 6% NaCl solution (8 lb/cft) at a flow rate of 2 BV/hr.
- Rinsing with DM water until the effluent is chloride-free.
- Proceeding with NSF testing.
Packing
- Super Sack: 1000 lit. / 35 cft
- MS drums: 180 lit.
- Fiber Drums: 7 cft
- HDPE lined Bags: 25 lit. / 1 cft
