This document describes the Ozonia ODT™ thermal ozone destruct units, designed to decompose residual ozone in exhaust gases before release into the atmosphere.
How it Works
Vent gases containing un-reacted ozone are routed to the Ozonia ODT™ unit. Inside a reaction chamber, gases are heated to approximately 400°C. This high temperature significantly reduces the ozone molecule's half-life, accelerating its decomposition into oxygen. The ozone content in the gas stream leaving the unit is typically below 0.1 ppm. The temperature within the reaction chamber is thermostatically controlled.
