Product identification
The CA series consists of close-coupled self-priming liquid ring pumps with a star impeller and anti-lock wear ring.
Two main versions are available:
- CA: Pump casing and lantern bracket in cast iron.
- B-CA: Pump casing and lantern bracket in bronze (pumps are supplied fully painted).
Key features include:
- Fast self-priming: Hydraulic design ensures fast self-priming once the pump body is filled with water.
- Flexible: Choice between cast iron and bronze for hydraulic parts allows selection for different liquid types.
- Easy maintenance: Anti-wear ring screwed to the pump body allows for rapid replacement.
Applications
For clean liquids without abrasives, without suspended solids, non-explosive, and non-aggressive for the pump materials. Suitable for:
- Liquids with entrained air or gas, or unstable flow in the suction pipe.
- Drawing water out of a well.
- Increasing network pressure (follow local specifications).
