Datasheet summary
CT 61
PDF datasheet mirror for CT 61 (Calpeda Pumps). Verify with OEM before design.
Summary
Product Identification
The Calpeda CT 61 and CT 60 are close-coupled peripheral (regenerative) pumps with a turbine impeller. They feature a compact, patented construction with a single-piece motor casing and pump-side wall, protected against water ingress to the motor.
- CT version: Pump casing in cast iron.
- B-CT version (CT 61 only): Pump casing in bronze (pumps are supplied fully painted).
Applications
These pumps are designed for clean liquids without abrasives, suspended solids, and must be non-explosive and non-aggressive to the pump materials.
They are suitable for:
- Increasing network pressure (local specifications must be followed).
- Mounting in cooling and air-conditioning machines and equipment.
- Circulation applications, due to their reduced dimensions.
Operating Limits
- Liquid temperature: Up to 60 °C
- Ambient temperature: Up to 40 °C
- Total suction lift: Up to 7 m
- Duty: Continuous
Electrical
- Motor type: 2-pole induction motor, 50 Hz (n ≈ 2900 rpm)
- CT 61 / CT 60 (three-phase): 230/400 V ± 10%
- CTM 61 / CTM 60 (single-phase): 230 V ± 10%, with thermal protector
- Capacitor: Inside the terminal box (for single-phase models)
- Insulation class: F
- Protection: IP 54
- Construction standards: EN 60034-1; EN 60335-1, EN 60335-2-41
Special features on request:
- Other voltages
- Frequency 60 Hz (as per 60 Hz data sheet)
- Special mechanical seal
