Operating Limits
General Pump (Wet End) Notes:
- Suitable for raising chemically and mechanically non-aggressive water.
- Maximum content of solids:
- 40 g/m³ (general)
- 100 g/m³ (E6P/E8P models)
- Maximum operating time with outlet closed and pump submersed: 3 min.
- Hydraulic performance characteristics are measured with 400 V powered motors, cold water (15°C), and atmospheric pressure (1 bar). They conform to standard UNI/ISO 9906 Grade 3B.
- Catalogue data refers to liquids with a density of 1 kg/dm³ and kinematic viscosity not exceeding 1 mm²/s.
- Friction losses in check valves are included for radial pumps. For mixed-flow pumps, these losses must be deduced from the total head (see the official PDF for friction loss charts).
Motor General Remarks:
- Maximum immersion: 150 m.
- Water velocity outside the motor shell:
- 0.2 m/s for MPC6… motors
- 0.3 m/s for M14… motors
- 0.5 m/s for MAC... (6"-12") - MPC8..-MPC10.. motors
- Maximum liquid temperature (varies by motor type):
- MPC6.. = 30°C
- MPC8.. - MPC10.. = 25°C
- MAC6.. A = 40°C (5 - 20 cv), 35°C (25 - 40 cv), 30°C (50 cv)
- MAC6.. B = 45°C (5 - 20 cv), 40°C (25 - 40 cv), 35°C (50 - 60 cv)
- MAC8... = 30°C
- MAC10... = 25°C
- MAC12... = 25°C
- M14... = 25°C
Feed Water
- Chemically and mechanically non-aggressive water.
- Maximum solids content: 40 g/m³ (general), 100 g/m³ (E6P/E8P).
