  • .3400: STHT (Special Teflon® high temperature) low and high pressure seals
  • .0700: PTFE (Pure Polytetrafluoroethylene, Teflon®) seals and Buna-N O-rings
  • .0710: Pure Polytetratetrafluoroethylene (Teflon®) seals and FPM O-rings
  • .0770: IPFE (Pure Polytetrafluoroethylene, Teflon®) seals and Isolast O-rings
  • .6000: NBRS (Buna-N silicone free) seals and O-rings

Operating Limits

The general product performance range is:

  • Flow: 0.13 to 240 gpm (0.49 to 908 lpm)
  • Pressure: 100 to 10,000 psi (6.9 to 689 bar)
  • RPM: 100 to 3450
  • Liquid Temperature: -10° to 240°F (-23° to 115°C)

Specific temperature ratings for seal materials:

  • FPM (Viton®) seals and O-rings: rated to 180°F (82°C)
  • High-temperature V-HOT cup for piston pumps: rated to 190°F (87°C)
  • Special Teflon® high temperature seals: rated to 200°F (93°C)
  • Triethylene Glycol (TEG) Pumps: rated to 240°F

Liquid CO₂ pumps are modified to handle low lubricity and low temperature, with manifold modifications for:

  • Inlet pressures: up to 800 psi (55 bar)
  • Discharge pressures: up to 5,000 psi (345 bar)
  • Flow range: 0.68 to 30 gpm (2.6 to 113.5 lpm)

Mechanical / Hydraulic

Key construction features:

  • Crankshaft: Chrome-moly for strength and surface hardness.
  • Piston Rod: Patented stepped piston rod with hard chrome-plated sleeve.
  • Plungers: Precision-polished, solid ceramic.
  • Seals: Specially formulated high pressure and low pressure seals.
  • Wet Cup/Seal Design: 100% wet cup/seal design for cooling and lubrication.
  • Valves, Seats, Springs: Stainless steel for corrosion-resistance and positive seating.
  • Plunger Rods (SF series): High strength stainless steel with 360° supported crosshead.
  • Connecting Rods: Matched oversized, high strength material.
  • Bearings: Oversized ball bearings or tapered roller bearings.
  • Crankcase: High strength, lightweight die cast aluminum with splash oil design.
  • XP Series Pumps: Utilize a flow-through ceramic plunger design.
  • SF Series Pumps: Utilize a flow-through ceramic plunger design.

Available drive types include:

  • Electric
  • Engine
  • Hydraulic
  • Pneumatic

Drive packages offered:

  • Belt
  • Direct Drive
  • Gearbox
  • Flex Coupling/Bell Housing
  • Clutch

Pump rotation:

  • Forward rotation (towards the manifold) is recommended for optimum lubrication.
  • Reverse rotation is acceptable if the crankcase oil is above the red dot in the oil gauge.

Commonly Used Formulas for Hydraulic Torque:

  • Hydraulic Torque (ft. lbs.) Required = (gpm x psi) / (rpm x 3.6)

Electrical

Commonly Used Formulas for Electric Power:

  • Required Electric Brake HP = (gpm x psi) / 1460 (Standard 85% Overall Efficiency)
  • HP Calculation (1CX Series only) = (GPM x PSI) / 1060

1CX Series Compact Misting Pumps with Electric Motor (1000 psi max pressure) motor options:

  • 1/4 hp, 115/230 V, 60Hz, 1ph, 1750 rpm, 12 inch leads
  • 1/2 hp, 115/230 V, 60Hz, 1ph, 1750 rpm, 12 inch leads
  • 1/2 hp, 115/230 V, 60Hz, 1ph, 1750 rpm, terminal box
  • 1/2 hp, 115/230 V, 50Hz, 1ph, 1450 rpm, terminal box

Centrifugal Pumps with integral motors and seals:

  • Submersible pumps: 0.3 to 1.0 hp
  • Self-priming motorized units with TEFC 56J NEMA motor: 1.0 to 2.0 hp

Feed Water / Product Water

For Centrifugal Pumps, typical fluids pumped include fresh water, semi-contaminated water, or liquids with some suspended solids. Liquid CO₂ pumps are designed for liquid CO₂ applications, which require handling low lubricity and low temperature.
