Summary
Product identification
These are DAB PUMPS peripheral centrifugal pumps, designed for reduced encumbrance and capable of generating high heads. They are suitable for domestic and small industrial uses.
- Pump body and motor support: Brass for KP 60 version, cast iron for KPS 30 and KP 38 versions.
- Impeller: Brass.
- Mechanical seal: Carbon/ceramic.
- Motor: Asynchronous, closed, cooled by external ventilation.
- Single-phase versions include built-in thermal and current overload protection and a permanently on capacitor.
- For three-phase motors, a suitable overload protection complying with regulations is advisable.
- KPS-fitted Pump: Models designated KPS are fitted with a pressure gauge, pressure switch, power supply cable with plug, and a five-way fitting for connection to a tank.
- New IE2 Motor: Some models (e.g., KP 60/12 T, KPF 45/20 T) are noted to feature a NEW IE2 MOTOR for energy efficiency.
Operating limits
- Operating range: From 1 to 50 l/min, with head up to 107 metres.
- Liquid temperature range:
- From 0°C to +35°C for domestic use.
- From -10°C to +80°C for other uses (from -10°C to +50°C for KPS 30 and KP 38 versions).
- Maximum ambient temperature: +40°C.
- Maximum working pressure: 10 bar (6 bar for KPS 30/16 version and KP 60/12).
- Protection level: IP 44.
- Insulation class: F.
