Product Identification
The Tecno ESD and Tecnoself ESD are surface horizontal pumps featuring a built-in Variable Frequency Drive (VFD). All ESD pumps are supplied with a Speedrive and a pressure transducer.
Applications
- Constant water supply in dripping irrigation installations.
- Industrial applications where constant pressure is required.
Operation Principle
The VFD increases and decreases the motor speed according to the installation demand, supplying constant pressure. The input signal for the VFD comes from a pressure transducer installed on the discharge pipe. The Speedrive includes built-in protections for the pump, such as dry running, temperature, and over intensity.
