The Flygt 3102 series comprises submersible pumps designed for various wastewater and fluid transfer applications, operating at 50 Hz. The series includes several pump types and motor configurations:

  • C-pump: Available with Standard Motor or Premium Efficiency Motor (IE3). Used for wastewater containing solids or fibered material, clean water, or surface water.
  • D-pump: Features vortex hydraulic for liquids containing solids, abrasive media, or light wastewater.
  • F-pump: A chopper pump with an S-shaped impeller and cutting function, suitable for liquid manure, heavily contaminated sewage, and sludge.
  • M-pump: Equipped with a grinder device for wastewater containing solids that require maceration.
  • N-pump: Available with Standard Motor or Premium Efficiency Motor (IE3). Designed for efficient pumping of clean water, surface water, and wastewater containing solids or long-fibered material, with sustained high efficiency. A specific "L" installation type is for mixed flow, high flow, and low head applications in column installations.

Non-explosion proof and explosion proof versions are available for most pump types.

    • Y/D start: 7 cores motor power cable with two twisted pair screened control cores. Cables < 7G6 mm² with unscreened control cores.
    • Variable Frequency drive: Screened 4 screened cores motor power cable with four twisted pair screened control cores. (Not listed for M-pump)
  • Monitoring equipment: Thermal contacts opening temperature 125°C (257°F). Optional leakage sensors in the stator housing (FLS) and oil housing (CLS).

Installation types

  • P (Semipermanent, wet well): Pump installed on two guide bars, automatic discharge connection.
  • S (Portable semipermanent, wet well): Hose coupling or flange for discharge pipeline connection.
  • T (Vertical permanent, dry well): Flange connection to suction and discharge piping.
  • Z (Horizontal permanent, dry well): Flange connection to suction and discharge piping.
  • F (Free standing semipermanent, wet well - M-pump only): Pump placed on a firm surface.
  • H (Semipermanent, wet well quick connection suspended - M-pump only): Incorporates integral non-return valve.
  • L (Vertical semipermanent, wet well column pipe - N-pump only): Well divided into suction and discharge parts, pump end equipped with guide vanes.

  • Oil (part no 901752): Medical white oil of paraffin type, fulfills FDA 172.878 (a).
  • Pump housing: Cast iron, gray (ASTM 35B/GJL-250 or ASTM A 48 NO 30B/GJL-200, depending on alternative and pump type).
  • Impeller:
    • C, D-pump: Cast iron, gray (ASTM 35B, EN GJL-250)
    • F-pump: Cast iron, nodular (EN GJS-400-18-LT)
    • M-pump: Cast iron, gray (ASTM 30B, EN GJL-200)

Mechanical seals

Four alternatives are available, combining Aluminum oxide/Corrosion resistant cemented carbide and Corrosion resistant cemented carbide/Corrosion resistant cemented carbide for inner and outer seals.

Surface treatment

  • Priming: Painted with a primer (see internal standard M0700.00.0002).
  • Finish: Navy gray color NCS 5804-B07G, two-component high-solid top coating (see internal standard M0700.00.0004 for standard painting and M0700.00.0008 for special painting).
