Summary

Product Identification

The Flygt jet mixer models JT 4710, 4715, 4720, 4730, and 4735 are designed for mixing contaminated water and sludge. Each unit consists of an engineered ejector system and a dry-installed Flygt N-pump. The Flygt N-pump features patented non-clogging technology for sustained efficiency and must be ordered separately from the ejector system.

Material

  • Ejector pipe: Stainless Steel
  • Nozzle: Cast iron
  • Bellmouth: Stainless Steel
  • Adapter unit: Stainless Steel

Operating Limits

  • JT 4710 and JT 4715 models are not suitable for continuous operation in air temperatures exceeding 35°C due to the internal water cooling capacity of the pump.
  • Performance data is based on standard conditions in clean water (water temperature +20°C (68°F), 1 atm, air temperature +20°C (68°F)), and a standard pipe configuration (including two gate valves, two elbows, and 10 meters of pipes).

Electrical

The jet mixers operate at 50/60 Hz.

  • Rated Motor Power (kW / hp):
    • JT 4710 (50 Hz): 2.4 kW
    • JT 4715 (50 Hz): 4.7 kW; (60 Hz): 5.5 kW (7.4 hp)
    • JT 4720 (50 Hz): 13.5 kW; (60 Hz): 14.9 kW (20 hp)
    • JT 4730 (50 Hz): 37 kW; (60 Hz): 45 kW (60 hp)
    • JT 4735 (50 Hz): 55 kW; (60 Hz): 63 kW (85 hp)

Installation

  • For optimal performance with the Flygt JT4710, the adapter unit should be attached directly to the nozzle inlet.
  • Pipes are not included and must be supplied locally.
