Mechanical / hydraulic

  • Design Features:
    • Two Stage, Horizontally Split Case design.

    • Maximum Interchangeability reduces inventory requirements.
    • Easily replaced Wear Rings protect against casing wear.
    • Impellers are hydraulically balanced (opposed for axial balance) and have opposed cut-waters for radial balance.
    • Upper half casing removal permits inspection, maintenance, or removal of the rotating element without disturbing piping or pump-to-motor alignment.
    • Stuffingbox Bushing protects shaft from wear, is easily replaceable, and secured with double lock in lower half casing.
    • Renewable Case Wear Rings permit maintenance of proper running clearance and protect against casing wear, secured with double lock in lower half casing to prevent rotation.
    • Shaft Sealing Flexibility: Packed stuffing box or a variety of mechanical seals are available. Conversion between types can be accomplished in the field without machining. Equalizing piping keeps the box at essentially suction pressure.
    • Unbalanced, balanced, or double mechanical seals are available.

    • Available in all iron, all bronze, or bronze fitted. Most sizes available in steel and stainless steel.
