Feed water
- Solids Handling: Capable of pumping liquids containing highly abrasive powders without breakdowns or detectable signs of wear. Admissible solids contents need to be checked case by case.
- Viscous Media: Large clearances (1.5 mm/ 1/16”) between the can and the inner magnet assembly allow for greater reliability with higher viscous media.
- Gas Content: An optional suction inducer is advantageous for media with entrained gas, high vapor pressures, or specific heats.
Mechanical / hydraulic
- Design Features:
- Standard frame-mounted design, alternatively close coupled.
- Modular design for maximum interchangeability between all 18 pump sizes.
- Back pull-out design for safe and simple maintenance.
- Complies with ISO 2858/EN 22858 for retrofit capability.
- Casing:
- Minimum corrosion allowance: 3mm.
- Standard 3/8” housing drain connection.
- Replaceable housing wear ring (optional).
- Integrated connections for pressure and temperature monitors.
- Jacketed housing for media heating or cooling on request.
- Bearings:
- Cartridge plain bearing system designed for fast and simple installation/replacement.
- Radial and thrust plain bearings made of highly abrasion-resistant pure silicon carbide (SSiC).
- Optional Dryguard™ PLUS bearing system provides optimized dry-running capability.
- Encapsulated cartridge design contains SSiC fragments and prevents inner magnet assembly from contacting the can in case of plain bearing failure.
- Sturdy frame features standard grease-for-life bearings.
- Frame bearing options: flood oil lubrication with extra large oil volume, oil sump cooling, labyrinth oil seals.
- Can:
- Hastelloy C4 (2.4610) as standard, deep-drawn non-welded one-piece construction.
- Vortex breaking bead at the bottom of the can prevents erosion.
- Large clearances (1.5 mm/ 1/16”) between the can and the inner magnet assembly.
- Impeller:
- Precision-cast stainless steel, optionally Hastelloy and other material.
- Back vanes or balance holes reduce axial thrust.
- Optional suction inducer reduces NPSHr by 35-50%.
- Flush Circuit: Engineered for heat dissipation, plain bearing lubrication, and solids handling without clogging.
- Pump Condition Monitoring:
- Prepared for attachment of various monitoring and control devices.
- Available options include: Pump speed control, temperature monitor, flow and filling level monitor, pressure monitor, motor load monitor, can temperature monitor, can leakage sensor in the lantern, rolling bearing monitor, connection for external flush supply, secondary sealing.
- Pump Dimensions (all dimensions in mm):
- A table listing various pump sizes (e.g., 40-25-160 to 125-100-200) with corresponding flange sizes (DNs, DND), and dimensions (a, f, h1, h2, d, l) and minimum weight (kg) is provided. See the official PDF for exact tabulated values.
- A table listing pump sizes (e.g., 40-25-160 to 80-50-200) with corresponding motor sizes and dimensions (f1, d1) for the close-coupled version is provided. See the official PDF for exact tabulated values.
- Material Comparison Table:
- A table comparing cast materials (Cast iron, Ductile cast iron, Stainless steel, Duplex, Alloy 20, Hastelloy C, Hastelloy B) with their ICM standard, DIN, and ASTM equivalent standards is provided. See the official PDF for exact tabulated values.
