Drive Arrangements

Goulds offers drive arrangements to meet specific user requirements:

  • Direct drive: Offers simplicity, ease of installation, and minimum maintenance.

Floor Plate Configurations

Two standard floor plate configurations are available: circular and rectangular. Custom designed floor plates can be provided.

Bearings

  • Outboard bearings: Duplex angular contact bearings on frame sizes C-1, C-2, C-3, C-4, C5A, & C6A; double row tapered roller bearings on the C-5 and C-6 frames.
  • Inboard bearings: Single row deep groove ball bearings on frame sizes C-1, C-2, C-3, C-4, C5A, & C6A; spherical roller bearings on the C-5 and C-6 frames.
