Operating limits

  • Performance Range (50 Hz): Dosing capacities from 0.3 l/h at 10 bar to 18.0 l/h at 3.5 bar. Maximum stroke rate is 120 strokes/min for most models.
  • Performance Range (60 Hz): Dosing capacities from 0.36 l/h at 10 bar to 21.6 l/h at 3 bar. Maximum stroke rate up to 232 strokes/min (DMI 0.8-16, DMI 1.1-16).
  • Turn-down Ratio:
    • Pumps with stroke length adjustment: 10% to 100% of the maximum capacity.
    • Pumps with pulse control offer even more flexibility.
  • Permissible Temperature Range of Pumped Media:
    • PVC Dosing Head: 0 to 40 °C (p < 10 bar), 0 to 20 °C (p < 16 bar)
    • Stainless Steel (DIN 1.4571) Dosing Head: –10 to 70 °C (p < 10 bar), –10 to 70 °C (p < 16 bar). Short-term resistance (15 minutes) to 120 °C at a counter pressure of maximum 2 bar.
    • PP Dosing Head: 0 to 40 °C (p < 10 bar)
    • PVDF Dosing Head: –10 to 60 °C (p < 10 bar), –10 to 20 °C (p < 16 bar). At 70 °C, the maximum counter pressure is 3 bar.
  • Max. Suction Lift (Continuous Operation, liquids with a viscosity similar to water):
    • Standard: Up to 6 m (e.g., DMI 0.8-16 to DMI 18-4)
    • With Plus3 system: 1.5 m
  • Max. Suction Lift (Start-up, non-degassing liquids with a viscosity similar to water):
    • Standard: Up to 2.8 m (e.g., DMI 6-8, DMI 9-6, DMI 14-4, DMI 18-4)
    • With Plus3 system: Special start-up device, consequently, the max. suction lift at start-up is not a problem.

Feed water

Product water

  • Accuracy:
    • Dosing flow fluctuation: < ±1.5% of full scale value within the control range 10% to 100%.
    • Linearity deviation: ±4% of full scale value within the control range 20% to 100%.
    • Accuracy is based on water as the dosing liquid, a fully deaerated dosing head, and a standard pump version.
