DPAS Horizontal-split-case
PDF datasheet mirror for DPAS Horizontal-split-case (Duijvelaar DP Pumps). Verify with OEM before design.
Summary
Product identification
- Series: DPAS C
- Type: Split case double suction centrifugal pump
Operating limits
- Shaft Seal Pressure (p): 12 bar
- Shaft Seal Temperature (t): -20 ... 120 °C
Feed water
- Pumped Liquids: Thin, clean, non-aggressive and non-explosive liquids free from large solid particles or fibres.
- Performance curves are valid for 20 °C clean water.
Electrical
DPAS series pumps use B5 flanged, IP 55 electric motors compliant with IEC standards. These motors are suitable for inverter usage according to IEC 60034.
Detailed motor data for 50 Hz, 2-pole and 4-pole configurations, including power, current, starting current ratio, power factor, efficiency, voltage, nominal speed, IEC connection, mass, and sound pressure level, are provided in the official PDF.
Mechanical / hydraulic
Design
- Single-stage axially split casing pumps with double entry and radial impeller.
- Double entry, closed impeller is hydraulically thrust compensated.
- Lower casing features an in-line design with suction and discharge nozzles on the same line.
- Upper casing is self-aligning for easy mounting.
- Double suction impeller reduces NPSH values and allows for high suction lifts.
- Short shaft design is available for mechanical seal applications, resulting in compact and rigid pumps.
- Pump and motor are separate components, connected via a flexible coupling and mounted on a base plate.
Bearings
- Pump groups A, B, and C: Ball bearings at both the dead and drive ends.
- Pump groups D, E, and F: Cylindrical roller bearing at the drive end and a ball bearing at the dead end.
Shaft Seal
Standard shaft seal is Burgmann MG1:
- Single Seal
- Unbalanced
- Elastomer Bellows
- Independent on direction of rotation
- Different types of mechanical seals are available.
Materials
Standard materials:
- Casing: 0.6025 / GJL-250
- Impeller: 0.6025 / GJL-250
- Shaft: 1.4021 / X20 Cr 13
- Casing wear ring: 2.1050.01 / G-Cu Sn 10
- Gland: 0.7040 / GJS-400-15
- Bearing housing and cover: 0.6025 / GJL-250
