Mechanical / hydraulic

  • Motor type: Squirrel cage in short circuit enclosed construction with external ventilation (TEFC).
  • Poles: 2-pole, 4-pole, and 6-pole ranges.

EU Regulations

The e-IXP series complies with European Union directives and regulations concerning ecodesign requirements for energy-related products (ErP), aimed at reducing energy consumption and environmental impact. These requirements apply to products placed and used in the European Economic Area.

  • Pumps (EU) N. 547/2012: Minimum Efficiency Index (MEI) ≥ 0.4 (from 1 January 2015). The e-IXP pumps comply with this MEI regulation at the design speed.
  • Electric motors (EU) 2019/1781 and 2021/341:
    • IE2 efficiency for three-phase motors with a rated output ≥ 0.12 and < 0.749 kW (from 1 July 2021).
    • IE3 efficiency for three-phase motors with a rated output ≥ 0.75 and < 1000 kW (from 1 July 2021).
  • Variable speed drives (VSD) (EU) 2019/1781 and 2021/341: IE2 efficiency for three-phase input and rated output power from 0.12 kW up to 1000 kW (from 1 July 2021). Additional requirements will be introduced from 1 July 2023.
