    • Complies with regulation 547/2012/EG (Minimum efficiency index MEI ≥0.1).
    • MEI reference value for water pumps with best efficiency is ≥0.7.
    • A variable speed controller can be used to run the pump more efficiently and economically when operated at different duty points.

Mechanical / hydraulic

  • General Design:
    • Multistage pumps with closed radial type impellers and wear rings on both sides.
    • Axial thrust is minimized by balance holes for reduced bearing loads and extended bearing lifetime.
    • Diffusers are separated from stage casings and are easily exchangeable.
    • Designed for heavy-duty industrial applications.
    • All design versions conform to ISO 5199 / EN 25199.
    • Multioutlet design available for all horizontal and vertical MP designs, allowing for multiple discharge branches to serve different pressure zones.
  • Type MP (Horizontal):
    • Horizontal shaft with bearings at both ends, drive-end at discharge side (standard).
    • Clockwise rotation (counter-clockwise and other flange orientations optional).
    • Suction branch left, discharge branch radially upwards (adjustable in 90° increments).
    • Grease lubrication for drive end thrust bearing (double row) and suction side ball bearing.
    • Thermal expansion of the pump rotor is balanced internally.
    • Bearings and shaft seal are maintainable without pump disassembly.
  • Type MPA (Endsuction):
    • Endsuction design for optimum flow into the first stage impeller.
    • Discharge branch radially upwards, drive end at discharge side.
    • Thrust bearing at drive side with grease lubrication.
    • Medium lubricated slide bearing between first and second stage impeller.
    • Inducer design available for low NPSH applications.
    • Eliminates the need for a second shaft seal.
    • Bearings and shaft sealing are maintainable without pump disassembly.
  • Type MPB (Vertical Close Coupled):
    • Vertical close coupled design using standard IEC motors up to 90 kW.
    • Pump shaft directly coupled to the motor shaft (non-flexible coupling).
    • All axial forces absorbed by motor bearings.
    • Medium lubricated slide bearing in suction casing.
    • Shaft sealing maintainable without pump disassembly.
  • Type MPV (Vertical with Separate Thrust Bearing):
    • Vertical design with separate thrust bearing (grease lubrication) and flexible coupling between motor and pump shaft.
    • Uses standard IEC motors for 90 kW and larger (110 kW to 355 kW for IEC3, design V1).
    • Medium lubricated sleeve bearing in suction casing.
    • Shaft sealing maintainable without pump disassembly.
