Summary
Product identification
The Lowara e-MP Series consists of highly efficient and flexible multistage pumps, designed according to ISO5199. Four main models are available: e-MPA, e-MPR, e-MPV, and e-MPD.
The product nomenclature provides a detailed breakdown of the pump configuration, including:

- Number of stages/impellers (e.g., 04 for 4 stages)
- Combination of full and trimmed impellers
- Configuration (A for horizontal axial suction, R for horizontal radial suction, D for horizontal with two roller bearings, V for vertical)
- Motor power (kW x 10)
- Number of poles (2 or 4)
- Frequency and power supply (various 50Hz and 60Hz voltages)
- Pressure rating for discharge and suction nozzles
- Motor type
- Materials for mechanical seal, O-ring, seal type, diffuser, impeller, and pump housing.

Mechanical / hydraulic
- Configurations:
- Horizontal (e-MPA, e-MPR, e-MPD)
- Vertical (e-MPV)
- Shaft Sealing: Mechanical seal, cartridge seal, soft packing.
- Bearings:
- e-MPA, e-MPR, e-MPV: Suction side: plain bearing; Discharge side: double angular ball bearing.
- e-MPD: Suction side: radial ball bearing; Discharge side: double angular ball bearing.
- Nozzles:
- e-MPA: Suction side: axial; Discharge side: radial, 90° rotatable (left, top, right).
- e-MPR: Suction side: 90° rotatable (left, top, right); Discharge side: radial, 90° rotatable (left, top, right).
- e-MPV: Suction side: 90° rotatable; Discharge side: radial, 90° rotatable.
- e-MPD: Suction side: 90° rotatable (left, top, right); Discharge side: radial, 90° rotatable (left, top, right).
- Special Features:
- e-MPA: Highest suction capability (lowest NPSH) due to axial inlet flow, reduced wear, small horizontal footprint.
- e-MPR: Higher suction nozzle flexibility, reduced wear, small horizontal footprint.
- e-MPV: Smallest footprint, four nozzle positions (90°, 180°, 270°, 360°).
- e-MPD: Higher possible inlet pressure, optional drive on the suction side.
- Materials: Standard pump material configurations are available for nominal operating pressures up to 40 bar, 63 bar, and 100 bar. These configurations specify materials for components such as suction impeller, impeller, diffuser, stage casing, suction casing, discharge casing, seal cover, bearing bracket, pump foot, wear ring, drum, drum bush, shaft, shaft sleeve, and relief pipe. Materials include various grades of cast iron, ductile iron, bronze, cast steel, stainless steel, duplex, and super duplex. See the official PDF for exact tabulated values and corresponding EN and ASTM standards.
- Efficiency: Performance is published according to ISO 9906:2012, acceptance test grade 2B. An example e-MP curve shows an efficiency value of 80,8% at 2B, an optional ensured efficiency of 79,2% at 1B, and a hypothetical curve at 3B showing 82,4%.
