Summary

Product identification

The SPECK TRIPLEX High-Pressure Plunger Pumps are from the NP10 series. Available models include:

  • NP10/10-150 (Code No. 00.7137)
  • NP10/13-150 (Code No. 00.7138)
  • NP10/15-150 (Code No. 00.7139)

Operating limits

Performance data is provided for intermittent operation. Data for continuous operation is available on request.

  • Maximum Pressure: 150 bar
  • Maximum RPM: 1450 min⁻¹
  • Maximum Water Temperature: 70 °C
  • NPSH Required:
    • 6.4 mWs for NP10/10-150, NP10/13-150
    • 6.6 mWs for NP10/15-150

A safety valve must be installed to ensure the admissible operating pressure is not exceeded by more than 10%. Exceeding temperature or speed limits, or operating without a safety valve, voids the warranty. Cavitation must be avoided, especially when pumping warm water.

Feed water

SPECK TRIPLEX Plunger Pumps are suitable for pumping clean water and other non-aggressive or abrasive media with a specific weight similar to water.

Prior to pumping any other media, suitability and resistance of the pumps (standard or special versions) must be checked, considering performance and temperature values.

Product water

  • Maximum Output:
    • 10.6 l/min for NP10/10-150
    • 13.1 l/min for NP10/13-150
    • 14.6 l/min for NP10/15-150

Electrical

  • Power Consumption:
    • 3.3 kW for NP10/10-150
    • 4.0 kW for NP10/13-150
    • 4.6 kW for NP10/15-150

A general formula for calculating power is: P (bar) x Q (l/min) = kW / 475

Mechanical / hydraulic

General Construction

The NP10 series pumps feature:

  • Crankcase of solid aluminium-cast.
  • Crankshaft and ball bearings together with plain bearing con rod all run in oil.
  • Solid ceramic plunger.
  • Double plunger sealing with leakage-return.
  • All gaskets in seal sleeves ensuring precise centring and easy replacement.
  • Identical suction and discharge valves, easily accessible.

Even though NP10 pumps run almost pulsation-free, a pressure accumulator may be necessary depending on the unit's construction and operating conditions. Flexible pressure lines can achieve a similar effect.

Materials of Construction

  • Valve Casing: Special Brass
  • Plunger: Ceramic
  • Valves: High-Grade Stainless Steel
  • Sleeves: Nitrile with fabric reinforcing
  • Support Rings: Teflon with graphite, run-dry-proof
  • Crankshaft: Drop-forged and case-hardened

Dimensions / Weights

  • Plunger Diameter: 18 mm (all models)
  • Stroke: 6.0 mm (all models)
  • Approximate Weight:
    • 6.4 kg for NP10/10-150, NP10/13-150
    • 6.6 kg for NP10/15-150

Dimension sheets are available in the official PDF.

Special Versions

All NP10 models are available in special versions:

  • 'RE' designation: AISI 316Ti stainless steel.
  • 'S' designation: Bronze valve casings and stainless steel wetted parts.
  • 'nickel-plated' designation: Nickel-plated valve casings.
  • Special seals are available on request.
