PDF datasheet mirror for Speck NP25 60 140 70 140 L (Speck Pumps). Verify with OEM before design.

Summary

Product identification

High-Pressure Plunger Pump, Series NP25.

TypeCode No.
NP25/60-14000.6580
NP25/70-14000.6158

Operating limits

Data are for intermittent operation. Data for continuous operation are available on request.

  • Pressure max: 140 bar
  • RPM max: 1450 min⁻¹
  • Water Temp max: 70 °C
  • NPSH Required: 10.0 mWs

A safety valve must be installed to ensure the admissible operating pressure is not exceeded by more than 10%. Exceeding temperature or speed limits voids the warranty.

Feed water

SPECK TRIPLEX Plunger Pumps are suitable for pumping clean water and other non-aggressive or non-abrasive media with a specific weight similar to water.

Prior to pumping any other media, suitability and resistance of standard and/or special-version pumps must be checked, considering pump performance and temperature values.

Particular care must be taken when pumping warm water, ensuring cavitation cannot occur.

Product water

TypeOutput max
NP25/60-14059.5 l/min
NP25/70-14069.7 l/min

Electrical

TypePower Consump.
NP25/60-14016.3 kW
NP25/70-14019.2 kW

A general formula for calculating power is: P (bar) x Q (l/min) = kW / 475

Mechanical / hydraulic

TypePlunger dia.StrokeWeight approx.
NP25/60-14030 mm20 mm18.0 kg
NP25/70-14030 mm24 mm18.0 kg

Construction Characteristics:

  • Crankcase of solid aluminium-cast.
  • Crankshaft with taper roller bearings together with plain bearing conrod all run in oil.
  • Solid ceramic plunger.
  • Double plunger sealing with Leakage-return.
  • All gaskets in seal sleeves ensuring precise centring and easy replacement.
  • Identical suction and discharge valves, discharge valves easily accessible.

Materials Used:

  • Valve Casing: Special Brass.
  • Plunger: Solid ceramic.
  • Valves: High-Grade Stainless Steel.
  • Sleeves: Nitrile with fabric reinforcing.
  • Crankshaft: Drop-forged and case-hardened.

Installation Notes: Even though SPECK-TRIPLEX pumps run almost pulsation-free, a pressure accumulator may be necessary depending on the unit's construction and operating conditions. The same effect can also be achieved by using flexible pressure lines. Cavitation must be avoided.
