Operating limits
Performance data is provided for intermittent operation; data for continuous operation is available on request.
A safety valve must be installed to ensure the admissible operating pressure is not exceeded by more than 10%. Operating the pump without a safety valve, or exceeding temperature or speed limits, automatically voids the warranty.
Particular care is required when pumping warm water to prevent cavitation.

Feed water
These pumps are suitable for pumping clean water and other non-aggressive or abrasive media with a specific weight similar to water.
Before pumping other media, suitability and resistance of the pumps (standard or special versions) must be checked, considering pump performance and temperature values.

A general formula for calculating power is: P (bar) x Q (l/min) = kW / 475
Mechanical / hydraulic
Construction Characteristics:
- Crankcase of solid aluminium-cast.
- Crankshaft with taper roller bearings and plain bearing con rod, all running in oil.
- Solid ceramic plunger.
- Double plunger sealing with leakage return.
- All gaskets held in seal sleeves, ensuring precise centring and easy replacement.
- Identical suction and discharge valves, easily accessible via plugs.
Materials Used:
- Valve Casing: Stainless Steel AISI 316Ti (1.4571)
- Plunger: Solid Ceramic

- Support Rings: Teflon with graphite, run-dry-proof

Even though SPECK-TRIPLEX NP25 pumps run almost pulsation-free, a pressure accumulator may be necessary depending on the unit's construction and operating conditions. The same effect can also be achieved by using flexible pressure lines. Using a pulsation damper adds considerably to the life of the seals and bearings.
