Feed water
SPECK TRIPLEX Plunger Pumps are suitable for pumping clean water and other non-aggressive or non-abrasive media with a specific weight similar to water.
Prior to pumping any other media, suitability and resistance of standard or special-version pumps must be checked, considering performance and temperature values.
Particular care must be taken when pumping warm water, ensuring cavitation does not occur.
Electrical
- Power Consumption: 26.3 kW
Mechanical / hydraulic
Construction Characteristics:
- Crankcase of solid aluminium-cast.
- Crankshaft with taper roller bearings together with plain bearing conrod all run in oil.
- Solid ceramic plunger.
- Double plunger sealing with leakage-return.
- All gaskets in seal sleeves ensuring precise centring and easy replacement.
- Identical suction and discharge valves, valves easily accessible.
Materials Used:
- Valve Casing: Special brass
- Plunger: Solid ceramic
- Valves: High-Grade Stainless Steel
- Sleeves: Nitrile with fabric reinforcing
- Crankshaft: Drop-forged and case-hardened
Installation Notes:
- A pressure accumulator may be necessary depending on the unit's construction and operating conditions. Flexible pressure lines can achieve a similar effect.
- Cavitation must be avoided.
Safety
A safety valve must be installed in accordance with the guidelines for liquid spraying units. It must be set so that the admissible operating pressure cannot be exceeded by more than 10%. Pump operation without a safety valve, or any excess in temperature or speed limits, automatically voids the warranty.
