Summary
Product identification
SPECK HIGH-PRESSURE PLUNGER PUMPS SERIES P11.
| Type | Code No. |
|---|---|
| P11/10-100 | 00.1308 |
| P11/13-100 | 00.0902 |
| P11/15-150 | 00.1297 |
Operating limits
Data are for intermittent operation. Data for continuous operation are available on request.
- Pressure max: 150 bar
- RPM max: 1420 min⁻¹
- Water-Temp max: 70 °C
- Safety: A safety valve must be installed so that the admissible operating pressure cannot be exceeded by more than 10%. Exceeding temperature or speed limits automatically voids the warranty. Cavitation must be avoided.
Feed water
SPECK TRIPLEX Plunger Pumps are suitable for pumping clean water and other non-aggressive or abrasive media with a specific weight similar to water. Prior to pumping any other media, a check must be made to determine suitability.
Product water
| Type | Output max (l/min) |
|---|---|
| P11/10-100 | 10.2 |
| P11/13-100 | 12.7 |
| P11/15-150 | 14.7 |
Electrical
| Type | Power Consump. (kW) |
|---|---|
| P11/10-100 | 3.1 |
| P11/13-100 | 3.9 |
| P11/15-150 | 4.5 |
A general formula for calculating power is: P (bar) x Q (l/min) / 475 = kW.
Mechanical / hydraulic
| Type | Plunger dia. (mm) | Stroke (mm) | Weight approx. (kg) | NPSH Required (mWs) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| P11/10-100 | 18.0 | 10.0 | 6.5 | 5.8 |
| P11/13-100 | 18.0 | 12.4 | 6.5 | 5.5 |
| P11/15-150 | 18.0 | 14.1 | 6.5 | 5.3 |
Construction Characteristics:
- Crankcase of aluminium-cast.
- Crankshaft and taper roller bearings together with plain bearing con rod all run in oil.
- Solid ceramic plunger.
- Drip-return ensuring long seal-life and drip-free operation.
- Identical suction and discharge valves, easily accessible.
Materials Used:
- Valve Casing: Special Brass.
- Plunger: Solid ceramic.
- Valves: High-Grade Stainless Steel.
- Sleeves: Nitrile with fabric reinforcing.
- Crankshaft: Drop-forged and case-hardened.
Installation: A pressure accumulator may be necessary depending on the unit's construction and operating conditions; flexible pressure lines can also achieve this effect. Particular care must be taken when pumping warm water, making absolutely sure that cavitation cannot occur.
