Summary

Product identification

SPECK HIGH-PRESSURE PLUNGER PUMPS SERIES P11.

TypeCode No.
P11/10-10000.1308
P11/13-10000.0902
P11/15-15000.1297

Operating limits

Data are for intermittent operation. Data for continuous operation are available on request.

  • Pressure max: 150 bar
  • RPM max: 1420 min⁻¹
  • Water-Temp max: 70 °C
  • Safety: A safety valve must be installed so that the admissible operating pressure cannot be exceeded by more than 10%. Exceeding temperature or speed limits automatically voids the warranty. Cavitation must be avoided.

Feed water

SPECK TRIPLEX Plunger Pumps are suitable for pumping clean water and other non-aggressive or abrasive media with a specific weight similar to water. Prior to pumping any other media, a check must be made to determine suitability.

Product water

TypeOutput max (l/min)
P11/10-10010.2
P11/13-10012.7
P11/15-15014.7

Electrical

TypePower Consump. (kW)
P11/10-1003.1
P11/13-1003.9
P11/15-1504.5

A general formula for calculating power is: P (bar) x Q (l/min) / 475 = kW.

Mechanical / hydraulic

TypePlunger dia. (mm)Stroke (mm)Weight approx. (kg)NPSH Required (mWs)
P11/10-10018.010.06.55.8
P11/13-10018.012.46.55.5
P11/15-15018.014.16.55.3

Construction Characteristics:

  • Crankcase of aluminium-cast.
  • Crankshaft and taper roller bearings together with plain bearing con rod all run in oil.
  • Solid ceramic plunger.
  • Drip-return ensuring long seal-life and drip-free operation.
  • Identical suction and discharge valves, easily accessible.

Materials Used:

  • Valve Casing: Special Brass.
  • Plunger: Solid ceramic.
  • Valves: High-Grade Stainless Steel.
  • Sleeves: Nitrile with fabric reinforcing.
  • Crankshaft: Drop-forged and case-hardened.

Installation: A pressure accumulator may be necessary depending on the unit's construction and operating conditions; flexible pressure lines can also achieve this effect. Particular care must be taken when pumping warm water, making absolutely sure that cavitation cannot occur.
