Summary
Product Identification
The TOEG Series consists of heat transfer pumps designed for circulating organic or synthetic heat transfer oils and hot water. These pumps feature uncooled mechanical seals and are available with bearing brackets 360 and 470.
Usage:
- Circulating organic or synthetic heat transfer oils in accordance with DIN 4754.
- Circulating hot water.
- Suitable for media with little non-abrasive contaminations.
Available Versions:
- TOEGN: Version with bearing bracket, volute casing axial/top.
- TOEGA: Close-coupled version with bracket, volute casing axial/top.
- TOEGI: Close-coupled version with bracket, inline casing.
Type Code Example (TOEGA 32 160 /150):
- G: Mechanical seal
- A: Close-coupled version with bracket, volute casing axial/top
- 32: Nominal width of outlet nozzle DN
- 160: Nominal impeller diameter in mm
- /150: Actual impeller diameter in mm

- Heat Transfer Oil / Thermal Oil:
- Minimum: -30 °C
- Maximum: +350 °C
- Water:
- Maximum: +160 °C (+180 °C on request)
Performance (at 2900 min⁻¹):
- Nominal Pressure: PN 16
- Maximum Head (Hmax): 100 m
- Maximum Flow Rate (Qmax): 550 m³/h
Environmental Conditions:
- Ambient Temperature: -20 °C to +40 °C

- Mechanical Seal (Thermal Oil): AQ1VGG, unbalanced
- Mechanical Seal (Hot Water): AQ1KGG, balanced
- Rolling Bearing: High-quality brand
- Bracket: EN-GJS-400-15
Design Features:
- Bearing Brackets: Two sizes available: 360 (for 12 sizes) and 470 (for 7 sizes).
- Pump Dimensions: In accordance with EN 733 (for TOEGN and TOEGA models).
- Casings: Identical volute casing for each frame size for TOEGN and TOEGA. Inline casings for TOEGI. Larger pumps feature centreline mounting and double volute casings to reduce radial forces and heat expansion impact.
- Impellers: Equipped with back vanes to reduce axial thrust and keep dirt particles away from sleeve bearings.
- Mechanical Seal Safety: Designed with an anti-vortex rib to prevent gas bubbles from forming on the mechanical seal, ensuring dry-run safety. Quench versions are available for media prone to crack product formation.
- Cooling: Optimized cooling of ball bearings, mechanical seal, and sleeve bearings via fan blade, coupling protection/bracket, and cooling fins.
Admissible Installation Positions:
- Thermal Oil Versions: Horizontal, vertical
- Hot Water Versions: Horizontal
Utility Connections (Thread Types):
- P1 (Pressure Manometer): G 1/4
- P2 (Suction Manometer): G 1/8
- V1 (Mechanical Seal Casing Ventilation - Horizontal): G 1/8 (not for hot water)
- V2 (Mechanical Seal Casing Ventilation - Vertical): G 1/8 (not for hot water)
- D1 (Volute Casing Drainage): G 3/8
- D2 (Mechanical Seal Casing Drainage): G 1/8
- QE (Mechanical Seal Leakage Evacuation): G 1/8
- QA (Quench): G 1/8 (optional)
Flange Dimensions: Flange dimensions are in accordance with DIN EN 1092-2, with options for drilling in accordance with ANSI 150 lbs. For specific DN sizes, øD1, øD3, and number of holes, refer to the tables on pages 16-18 of the official PDF datasheet.
Painting: Pumps are coated with highly heat-resistant white aluminium paint (RAL 9006).
Tests and Inspections:
- Gas Pressure Test: 2 bar with forming gas, 15 minutes hold time.
- Hydrostatic Pressure Test: 1.5 x nominal pressure (PN16) at 20 °C, 10 minutes hold time.
- Hydraulic Tests: Measurement according to EN ISO 9906, Class II, Acceptance Class 2B, Edition March 2013.
- NPSH Test: Evaluates suction-side pressure reduction until 3% head decrease.
