The MBN-RO is a configured, ring section, multistage pump specifically designed for high pressure membrane feed service in sea water reverse osmosis (SWRO) applications. It is also suitable for other high pressure applications with clean liquids.

Mechanical / hydraulic

Features and Benefits:

• Bearing assembly: Product-lubricated bearings at both Drive End (DE) and Non-Drive End (NDE) for compactness, reliability, and ease of maintenance, requiring no lubricating grease or oil.
• Hydraulics: High efficiency, low Net Positive Suction Head (NPSH) impellers for all stages; double volute at last stage reduces radial thrust; replaceable stationary PEEK wear parts.
• Flanges: Can be installed in side or top position; radial suction flange allows accessibility to mechanical seal and DE product-lubricated bearing without disassembling piping.
• Shaft sealing: Integrated single mechanical seal at DE (low pressure side), with flushing from the first stage. No mechanical seal on the high pressure side.
• Axial thrust balance: Achieved by means of a balancing disc.
• Maintenance: All parts typically subject to maintenance (DE and NDE bearings, balancing disc, mechanical seal) are accessible and replaceable on site without removal of suction and discharge piping.
