Note: Dimensions C, D, and E appear to relate to the element's internal/endcap configurations. See the official PDF for exact tabulated values and diagrams.

General Handling Procedures

  • Elements should be stored dry at room temperature (7–32 °C; 40–95 °F) and out of direct sunlight.
  • If the polyethylene bag is damaged, add a new sodium bisulfite preservative solution and seal tightly to prevent drying and biological growth.
  • The permeate from the first hour of operation should be discarded to flush out the preservative solution.
  • Elements must be kept moist after initial wetting.
  • During storage, shipping, and system shutdowns, immerse elements in a preservative solution (e.g., 1% by weight sodium bisulfite or food-grade sodium metabisulfite) to prevent biological growth and freezing. For short-term storage (one week or less), 1% by weight sodium metabisulfite solution is sufficient.
  • Avoid excessive pressure and flow spikes.
  • Only use chemicals compatible with the membrane elements and components; incompatible chemicals may void the warranty.
  • Permeate pressure must always be equal to or less than the feed/concentrate pressure; damage from permeate back pressure voids the warranty.
