The FilmTec™ SOAR 4000i Element is a low energy, brackish water reverse osmosis (RO) element designed for DesaliTec™ CCRO systems. Note: Permeate flow and salt (NaCl) rejection are based on the following standard test conditions: 2,000 ppm NaCl, 200 psi (13.8 bar), 77°F (25°C), pH 8, and 20% recovery. Flow rates for individual elements may vary by no more than +/- 15%. Stabilized salt rejection is generally achieved within 24-48 hours of continuous use. The use of this product does not guarantee the removal of cysts and pathogens; effective reduction depends on the complete system design, operation, and maintenance.

Important Operating Information:

• Keep elements moist at all times after initial wetting.
• Strict adherence to operating limits and guidelines is required for warranty validity.
• For prolonged system shutdowns, immerse membrane elements in a preservative solution to prevent biological growth.
• The customer is fully responsible for the effects of incompatible chemicals and lubricants on elements.
• Avoid static permeate-side backpressure at all times.
• Discard permeate obtained from the first hour of operation.
