Feed water

Test conditions for the TW30-2540 are based on a 2,000 ppm NaCl feed stream.

Product water

  • Permeate Flow Rate (typical): 1,000 gpd (3.8 m³/d)
    • Based on test conditions: 77°F (25°C), 15% recovery, 225 psig (15.5 bar) applied pressure, and 2,000 ppm NaCl feed stream.
    • Permeate flows for individual elements may vary +/-20%.
  • Stabilized Salt Rejection (typical): 99.5%
    • Based on test conditions: 77°F (25°C), 15% recovery, 225 psig (15.5 bar) applied pressure, and 2,000 ppm NaCl feed stream.

Mechanical / hydraulic

  • Dimensions:
    • A: 40.0 inches (1,016 mm)
    • B: 1.19 inches (30.2 mm)
  • Feed Spacer Thickness: 28 mil
  • Elements fit nominal 2.5-inch I.D. pressure vessels.

General Operating Guidelines

  • Keep elements moist at all times after initial wetting.
  • To prevent biological growth during prolonged system shutdowns, it is recommended that membrane elements be immersed in a preservative solution.
  • Avoid static permeate-side backpressure at all times.
  • Proper start-up of RO systems is essential to prepare membranes and prevent damage. This includes gradually increasing feed pressure over 30-60 seconds and gradually achieving cross-flow velocity over 15-20 seconds.
  • The use of this product does not guarantee the removal of cysts and pathogens; effective reduction depends on the complete system design, operation, and maintenance.
