Product Identification

The SanRO-HS Heat Sanitizable, High Rejection RO Composite Membrane Elements are designed for high performance in USP and other high purity water systems. They feature sanitary, full-fit outer-wraps to eliminate "dead flow" areas for maximum bacteria control, and components conform to FDA regulation CFR Title 21. All SanRO-HS elements are heat set at the factory with a one-hour vacuum rinse at 85 °C.

The following performance data is for the SanRO HS-8 model:

• Element Performance*:

  • Permeate Flow (8040 size): 8800 GPD (33.3 m³/day)
  • Permeate Flow (4040 size): 2200 GPD (8.4 m³/day)
  • Nominal Rejection: 99.7 %

  Element performance is tested at 225 psig (1.55 MPa) applied pressure, 1500 mg/L NaCl feed, 15% recovery, and 77 °F (25 °C) temperature.

• System Performance*:

  • Projected Applied Pressure: 180 psig (1.24 MPa)
  • Projected Permeate TDS: 6.6 PPM

  System performance is projected for a 2:2:1 array system operating at 15 GFD (26 LMH) average flux with 500 mg/L TDS feed (NaCl), 80% recovery, pH 7, and 77 °F (25 °C) temperature.

Elements are packaged in a sealed polyethylene bag containing less than 1.0% sodium meta-bisulfite solution within a cardboard box. They include an interconnector assembly, ATDs, and one brine seal.
