- pH Range @ Max Temperature: 3-10
- pH Range @ Ambient Temperature: 3-10.5
Product water
NDX membranes are suitable for dye concentration and dye de-salting applications. Nanofiltration membranes operate at lower pressures than reverse osmosis membranes while still achieving high rejection of divalent and monovalent ions. They can greatly reduce levels of hardness, nitrates, sulfates, tannins, turbidity, TDS, and moderate levels of salt from feed water streams.

Element Dimensions & Weight
The datasheet provides dimensions (diameter, length, PWT ID/OD, tube extension) and dry weight for various element models across 1.8”, 2.5”, 4”, and 8” sizes. For example:
- 1812TM: Diameter 1.8” (4.6 cm), Length 11.75” (29.8 cm), Dry Weight 1.0 lb (0.9 kg)
- 8040HF: Diameter 7.9” (20.1 cm), Length 40.0” (101.6 cm), Dry Weight 35.0 lb (15.9 kg)
See the official PDF for exact tabulated values for all models.
NF Membrane Area
Membrane area in square feet varies by element model and feed spacer thickness (e.g., 24, 31, 46, 65, 80 mils). See the official PDF for exact tabulated values.
Recommended Element Cross Flow Rate
Recommended cross flow rates in m³/hr and gpm are provided for different element types (1.8”, 2.5”, 4”, 8”) across various feed spacer thicknesses (24, 31, 46, 65, 80 mils). Note: The recommended cross flow rate will be subject to differential pressure limitations and specific applications. See the official PDF for exact tabulated values.
Technical Notes
Custom element designs are available for sizes not listed, requiring specifications for outer diameter (OD) or vessel/housing inner diameter (ID), element inner diameter (ID), and length. Elements can be provided with or without a controlled bypass tail, and additional feed spacers are available. Trials should be conducted to determine optimal application conditions.
