Summary
Pretreatment Products
Synder Filtration offers a range of pretreatment options to help maintain membrane life and sustain performance.
- Chemical Dosing: Small peristaltic pumps constantly deliver low concentrations of antiscalant, antioxidant (for chlorine), pH balance (acid/caustic), or other pretreatment chemicals.
- Cartridge Filters: Act as a "final catch" before membranes, suitable for solutions with less than 100ppm of contamination. Filtration rates from 0.1 micron to 100 micron are available.
- Water Softeners: Designed to remove inorganic metal ions from the feed solution using ion exchange resin, with a backflush and recharge control head.
- Bag Filters: A cost-effective method for reducing TSS levels in the feed stream, which increases membrane life and performance. Filtration rates from 0.1 micron to 100 micron are available.
- Activated Carbon Filters: Synder Filtration’s granular activated carbon (GAC) is effective in removing organic solvents in solution, including chlorine.
- Multi-Media Filters: An optimal choice for large volumes, allowing for much higher flow rates and tank size.
Reverse Osmosis Cleaning Chemicals
Synder offers a range of RO cleaning chemicals, from dosing chemicals used for Clean-In-Place (CIP) cleaning to acidic and basic cleaning solutions.
Power Flux Concentrate (PFC)
Power Flux Concentrate (PFC) cleaning solution was formulated specifically for removing paint solids from Synder’s V6 e-coat membranes.
- Formulated for normal paint fouling.
- Contains zero VOCs.
- Requires only the addition of acid and clean water (RO or DI quality) for normal UF cleaning.
- Available in 1 and 5 gallon containers.
- No expensive additional additives required for normal UF cleaning.
- Specialized cleaning formulations are available upon request to combat specialized fouling (Biological, Iron, Heavy Metals).
