Operating Information & Notices

  • Elements are wet tested and treated with a 1% by weight sodium bisulfite storage solution, then vacuum packed in oxygen barrier bags. Alternatively, they are treated with tested feed water solution and vacuum packed with deoxidant.
  • For short-term storage, shipment, or system shutdown, immersion in a protective solution of 500-1,000 ppm food-grade sodium bisulfite dissolved in permeate is recommended to prevent biological growth.
  • Permeate from the first hour of operation must be discarded.
  • The customer is responsible for the effects of incompatible chemicals; their use will void the Limited Warranty.
  • All data is subject to change without prior notice due to technical modifications or production changes.
