Mechanical / Hydraulic
All dimensions are shown in inches (millimeter).
- Overall Length: 40 (1,016)
- Outer Diameter: 15.80 (402)
- Permeate/Concentrated Brine Port Diameter: 3.110 (79)
- Flow Direction: Feed Water from one end, Concentrated Brine out the other, Permeate central.
Storage and Handling
- Elements are wet tested and treated with either:
- A 1% by weight percent sodium bisulfite storage solution, then vacuum packed in oxygen barrier bags.
- Tested feed water solution, then vacuum packed in oxygen barrier bags with a deoxidant inside.
- For short-term storage, shipment, or system shutdown, it is recommended that elements be immersed in a protective solution containing 500-1,000 ppm of sodium bisulfite (food grade) dissolved in permeate.
- Permeate from the first hour of operation shall be discarded.
- The customer is responsible for the effects of chemicals incompatible with the elements; their use will void the Limited Warranty.
