Feed water
Test Conditions used for performance data:
- Feed Water Pressure: 225 psi (1.55 MPa)
- Feed Water Temperature: 77 °F (25 ℃)
- Feed Water Concentration: 2,000 mg/L NaCl
- Recovery Rate: 15 %
- Feed Water pH: 7
- Minimum Salt Rejection: 99.65 %
General warnings:
- It is strongly recommended to remove free chlorine and other oxidizing agents (especially with heavy metals as catalysts) from the feed water before operating the RO system to prevent unexpected membrane oxidation.
Product water
- Permeate from the first hour of operation shall be discarded.
Mechanical / hydraulic
- Overall length: 40 inches (1,016 mm)
- Nominal Element Diameter: 7.9 inches (201 mm) for element body, 8 inches for product family designation.
- Permeate tube diameter: 1.125 inches (29 mm)
General Information
- Elements are wet tested and treated with a 1% by weight sodium bisulfite storage solution, then vacuum packed in oxygen barrier bags.
- Alternatively, elements are treated with tested feed water solution and vacuum packed in oxygen barrier bags with deoxidant inside.
- For short-term storage, shipment, or system shutdown, it is recommended to immerse elements in a protective solution of 500-1,000 ppm sodium bisulfite (food grade) dissolved in permeate to prevent biological growth.
- Use of chemicals incompatible with the elements will void the limited warranty.
