Summary

Product identification

The AE Series consists of high rejection, low energy seawater reverse osmosis (RO) elements. These proprietary thin-film elements are characterized by excellent sodium chloride (NaCl) rejection and are selected for applications requiring high quality permeate from seawater with relatively high Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). The AE series membrane chemistry provides excellent rejection characteristics when operated at seawater conditions (pressures exceeding 800 psi (5,516 kPa)).

Element Specifications

  • AE-90
    • Average permeate flow: 1875 GPD (7.1 m³/day)
    • Average NaCl rejection: 99.8%
    • Minimum NaCl rejection: 99.5%
    • Minimum Boron rejection: 92.0%
  • AE-400, 34
    • Average permeate flow: 9000 GPD (34.1 m³/day)
    • Average NaCl rejection: 99.8%
    • Minimum NaCl rejection: 99.5%
    • Minimum Boron rejection: 92.0%
  • AE-440
    • Average permeate flow: 9900 GPD (37.5 m³/day)
    • Average NaCl rejection: 99.8%
    • Minimum NaCl rejection: 99.5%
    • Minimum Boron rejection: 92.0%

Note: Average salt rejection is measured after 24 hours of operation. Individual flow rate may vary ±20%. Testing conditions for rejection values: 32,000 mg/l NaCl & 5 mg/l Boron solution at 800 psi (5,516 kPa) operating pressure, 77°F (25°C), pH 8.0, and 10% recovery.
