AK-90 H
Engineering summary from PDF text extraction for AK-90 H. Verify every value with the OEM datasheet.
Summary
The AK H Series consists of thin-film reverse osmosis (RO) elements designed for high performance, high rejection, and ultra-low energy operation. These brackish water elements provide very high rejection of uncharged and lightly charged species, including silica and many micropollutants. They are certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 61.
Product identification
These elements are suitable for applications such as drinking water treatment for removal of emerging contaminants and second-pass RO systems for further polishing by ion exchange or electro-deionization.
The membrane is a thin-film polyamide (TFM).

Mechanical / hydraulic
Elements are wet tested. 8-inch diameter elements are preserved in a 1% weight sodium bisulfite solution and vacuum packed. 4-inch diameter elements are packaged with oxygen scavenger packets in oxygen barrier bags.
Storage temperature should be below 35°C (95°F), avoiding freezing and direct sunlight. After installation, elements should be kept wet, and a compatible preservative used for storage longer than 7 days. During initial start-up, the first permeate should be discharged to drain for 30 minutes. Permeate back pressure must not exceed feed pressure. Elements should be maintained in a clean condition. Cleaning is recommended if pressure drop increases by 20% or water permeability decreases by 10%, using only compatible chemicals.
