Product identification

The DL Series consists of industrial high-flow nanofiltration elements featuring D-Series Thin-Film Membranes (TFM*). These membranes are characterized by an approximate molecular weight cut-off of 150-300 Dalton for uncharged organic molecules. They preferentially reject divalent and multivalent anions, while monovalent ion rejection is dependent upon feed concentration and composition. Since monovalent ions pass through the membrane, they do not contribute to osmotic pressure, allowing systems to operate at lower feed pressures than reverse osmosis (RO) systems.

Typical applications include dye removal/concentration, sodium chloride diafiltration, and metals recovery.

Element Specifications

Testing conditions for average permeate flow and MgSO₄ rejection are: 2,000 ppm MgSO₄ solution at 110 psi (760 kPa) operating pressure, 77°F (25°C), and 15% recovery. Average salt rejection is measured after 24 hours of operation. Individual flow rates may vary ±25%.
