Summary

Product identification

The Industrial RO HP Series are ultra-high-pressure reverse osmosis elements featuring a proprietary A-Series thin-film membrane for high salt retention. The Industrial RO5 and RO7 HP elements are designed to operate up to 100 bar, utilizing a special element and membrane design. They are typically used for industrial brines to achieve very high salt concentrations in the retentate, improving the efficiency of Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) or Minimal Liquid Discharge (MLD) systems. These elements are also recommended for salt recovery in industrial process or waste streams. They incorporate a 35mil spacer in an ultra-high-pressure compatible element assembly.

Element specifications

(1) Average salt rejection after 24h operation. Individual flow rate may vary ±25%. (2) Testing conditions:

  • INDUSTRIAL RO5: 2,000 ppm NaCl solution at 225psi (1,550kPa) operating pressure, 77°F, pH 7.5 and 15% recovery.
  • INDUSTRIAL RO7: 500 ppm NaCl solution at 75psi (520kPa) operating pressure, 77°F, pH 7.5 and 15% recovery.
