Summary

Product identification

The MW Series consists of Industrial oil/water separation UF elements, featuring M-series polyacrylonitrile (PAN) membranes. These membranes are characterized by:

  • Pore size: 0.01 microns
  • Approximate molecular weight cut-off (MWCO): 20K-50K Dalton
  • Surface characteristic: Extremely hydrophilic (water attracting) to avoid fouling by "free" oils, as compared to conventional oleophilic membranes.

MW Elements are designed for oil/water separation and pretreatment of process water before reverse osmosis or nanofiltration.
