Summary

Product identification

The HP1812-50 is a Helixfil Series Reverse Osmosis membrane element.

Application

This RO element is designed for treating low-salinity water sources such as tap water and well water. It operates under extra-low pressure and is suitable for:

  • Residential water purifiers
  • Hospital and laboratory water purification devices
  • Centralized water supply treatment
  • Underground water treatment

Product Performance

  • Model: HP1812-50
  • Permeate Flow: 50 GPD (0.19 m³/d)
  • Rejection Rate: 99%
  • Min. Rejection: 98%

Testing Conditions:

  • Testing Pressure: 60 psi (0.41 MPa)
  • Temperature of Testing Solution: 25℃
  • Concentration of Testing Solution (NaCl): 250 ppm
  • pH of Testing Solution: 6.5~8.5
  • Recovery of Single Element: 60 %

Note: Each membrane element may have ±15% variation in permeate flow and ±2% variation in rejection rate.

  • C/mm: 17
  • D1/mm: 21
  • D2/mm: 21

Important Information

  • Preservation:
    • Dry membrane elements have no preservation solution and are vacuum-packaged.
    • Wet membrane elements contain 1.0% sodium bisulfite (with 10% propylene glycol antifreeze added in winter) as a preservation solution and are vacuum-packaged.
    • Dry membrane elements must be maintained wet after soaking.
    • Wet membrane elements require preservation solution for long-term storage when not in use.
  • Initial Flushing:
    • When first used, flush for 15-25 minutes at low pressure (not suitable for soaking overnight).
    • Subsequently, flush for 60-90 minutes at high pressure (water flow should not be less than 50% of the system design flow).
    • Permeate and concentrated water from the first hour of initial operation must be discharged.
  • Chemicals:
    • The addition of any chemicals that may affect the membrane element during storage and operation is prohibited.
  • Warranty:
    • The operating limits and guidelines provided are part of the limitations for the three-year warranty on the membrane element.
  • Documentation:
    • Refer to the Product Manual for detailed information on installation, commissioning, storage, and transportation.
