Summary

Product identification

The HP3012-400 is a Helixfil Series Reverse Osmosis membrane element independently developed by VONTRON.

It is designed for the treatment of low-salinity water sources such as tap water and well water, and is applicable to:

  • Residential water purifiers
  • Hospital and laboratory water purification devices
  • Centralized water supply
  • Underground water

Product performance

Test Conditions:

  • Testing Pressure: 100 psi (0.69 MPa)
  • Temperature of Testing Solution: 25℃
  • Concentration of Testing Solution (NaCl): 250 ppm
  • pH of Testing Solution: 6.5~8.5
  • Recovery of Single Element: 60 %

Performance:

  • Model: HP3012-400
  • Permeate Flow: 400 GPD (1.51 m³/d) (Each membrane element may have ±15% variation)
  • Rejection Rate: 98% (±2% variation)
  • Min. Rejection: 97%

Mechanical / hydraulic

  • A: 298 mm
  • B: 73 mm
  • C: 17 mm
  • D1: 15 mm
  • D2: 22 mm

Important Information

  • Preservation:
    • Dry membrane elements are shipped without preservation solution.
    • Wet membrane elements are shipped with 1.0% sodium bisulfite (in winter, 10% propylene glycol antifreeze is added) as a preservation solution, and are vacuum packaged.
    • Dry membrane elements must be maintained wet after initial soaking.
    • Wet membrane elements require preservation solution if not used for a long time.
  • Initial Operation/Flushing:
    • Flush for 15-25 minutes at low pressure.
    • Then flush for 60-90 minutes at high pressure (water flow not less than 50% of system design).
    • The permeate water and concentrated water from the first hour of initial operation must be discharged.
  • Warranty: The operating limits and guidelines provided are part of the limitations of the three-year warranty.
  • Chemicals: The addition of any chemicals that may affect the membrane element during storage and operation is prohibited.
  • Further Details: Refer to the Product Manual for detailed information on installation, commissioning, storage, and transportation.
