Summary
Product identification
- Model: HT3-1812-80
- Series: High TDS Series
Application
The HT3-1812-80 RO element is designed for treating high TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) water resources, up to 4000 ppm. It effectively removes organic matter, microorganisms, viruses, metal ions, radioactive particles, and carcinogens from water.
Applications include:
- Residential water purifiers.
- Hospital and laboratory water purification devices.
- Treatment of centralized water supply and underground water.
Product Performance
- Permeate Flow: 80 GPD (0.3 m³/d)
- Note: Each membrane element may have ±15% variation of permeate flow.
- Rejection Rate: 98.5%
- Note: Rejection Rate ±2%.
- Min. Rejection: 97.5%
Testing Conditions
- Testing Pressure: 60 psi (0.41 MPa)
- Temperature of Testing Solution: 25℃
- Concentration of Testing Solution (NaCl): 250 ppm
- pH of Testing Solution: 6.5~8.5
- Recovery of Single Element: 15 %
Operational Guidelines and Storage
- Preservation:
- Dry membrane elements are shipped without preservation solution. After initial wetting, they should always be maintained wet.
- Wet membrane elements are shipped with 1.0% sodium bisulfite as preservation solution. In winter, 10% propylene glycol antifreeze is added. If wet elements are not used for a long time, preservation solution is needed for storage.
- Elements are vacuum packaged.
- Initial Flush:
- When first used, flush for 15-25 minutes at low pressure (do not soak overnight).
- Follow with a flush for 60-90 minutes at high pressure; the water flow should not be less than 50% of the system design water flow.
- The permeate water and concentrated water from the first hour of initial operation must be discharged.
- Warranty: The operating limits and guidelines in this document are part of the three-year warranty limitations.
- Chemicals: The addition of any chemicals that may affect the membrane element during storage and operation is prohibited and will void liability from Vontron Technology.
- Documentation: Refer to the Product Manual for detailed information on installation, commissioning, storage, and transportation.
