M100

Engineering summary from PDF text extraction for M100. Verify every value with the OEM datasheet.

Summary

Product identification

  • Model: M100
  • Series: Mempro Series
  • Description: An extra low-pressure reverse osmosis (RO) element.

Application

The M100 element is designed for the treatment of low-salinity water resources, including tap water, well water, and other water sources such as centralized water supply and underground water. It is applicable to water purifying devices for:

  • Residential use
  • Hospital facilities
  • Laboratory settings

Product Performance

The following performance specifications are based on standard testing conditions:

  • Permeate Flow: 100 GPD (0.38 m³/d)
  • Rejection Rate: 98.5%
  • Minimum Rejection: 96.5%
  • Testing Pressure: 80 psi (0.55 MPa)
  • Temperature of Testing Solution: 25℃
  • Concentration of Testing Solution (NaCl): 250 ppm
  • pH of Testing Solution: 6.5~8.5
  • Recovery of Single Element: 15 %

Note on variation:

  • Each membrane element may have ±15% variation of permeate flow.
  • Rejection Rate may vary by ±2%.

Important Information for Operation and Storage

  • Preservation Solution:
    • Dry membrane elements leave the factory without preservation solution.
    • Wet membrane elements contain 1.0% sodium bisulfite (with 10% propylene glycol antifreeze in winter) as preservation solution, and are vacuum packaged.
  • Storage:
    • Dry membrane elements must be maintained wet after soaking.
    • Wet membrane elements not in use for a long time require a preservation solution soak.
  • Initial Start-up:
    • It is recommended to flush the membrane element for 15-25 minutes at low pressure.
    • Subsequently, flush for 60-90 minutes at high pressure (water flow should not be less than 50% of the system design water flow).
    • The permeate water and concentrated water produced within the first hour of initial operation must be discharged.
  • Warranty: The operating limits and guidelines provided in this technical information are part of the limitations for the three-year membrane element warranty.
  • Chemicals: The addition of any chemicals that may affect the membrane element during storage and operation is prohibited. Vontron Technology will not be liable for any consequences arising from the use of such chemicals.
  • Further Details: For comprehensive details on installation, commissioning, storage, and transportation of membrane elements, please refer to the Product Manual.
