Summary

Product Identification

The Vontron Mempro Series M80 reverse osmosis element is designed for treating low-salinity water resources, including tap water, well water, centralized water supply, and underground water. It is applicable to water purifying devices for residential use, hospitals, and laboratories, operating under extra low pressure.

Product Performance

The M80 element's performance is tested under the following conditions:

  • Testing Pressure: 80 psi (0.55MPa)
  • Temperature of Testing Solution: 25℃
  • Concentration of Testing Solution (NaCl): 250 ppm
  • pH of Testing Solution: 6.5~8.5
  • Recovery of Single Element: 15 %

Under these conditions, the M80 exhibits:

  • Permeate Flow: 80 GPD (0.3 m³/d) (±15% variation possible)
  • Rejection Rate: 98% (±2% variation possible)
  • Minimum Rejection: 96%

Mechanical / Hydraulic

The dimensions of the membrane element are:

  • A: 298 mm
  • B: 44 mm
  • C: 17 mm
  • D1: 21 mm
  • D2: 21 mm

Important Information

  • Preservation: Dry membrane elements have no preservation solution before leaving the factory. Wet membrane elements use 1.0% sodium bisulfite (with 10% propylene glycol antifreeze added in winter) as a preservation solution for storage, and are vacuum packaged.
  • Storage: Dry membrane elements must be kept wet after soaking. Wet membrane elements not in use for extended periods require preservation solution.
  • Initial Flushing: When first used, it is recommended to flush the element for 15-25 minutes at low pressure, followed by 60-90 minutes at high pressure (water flow not less than 50% of system design).
  • Initial Discharge: Permeate and concentrated water from the first hour of operation must be discharged.
  • Warranty: The operating limits and guidelines provided are part of the limitations for the three-year warranty.
  • Chemicals: The addition of any chemicals that may affect the membrane element during storage and operation is prohibited.
  • Manual: Refer to the Product Manual for detailed information on installation, commissioning, storage, and transportation.
