Puro FRLE

Engineering summary from PDF text extraction for Puro FRLE. Verify every value with the OEM datasheet.

Summary

Product identification

PURO-FRLE strengthened RO membrane elements, part of the Helixfil Series.

Application

PURO-FRLE is an ultra-low pressure RO membrane designed for fouling resistance and low energy consumption. It is applicable to the treatment of industrial sewage with low salinity.

Typical applications include:

  • Pure water production from surface water, such as lake water and river water.
  • Desalination of reclaimed water, including industrial wastewater and RO concentrated water.

Product Performance

The following performance is measured under test conditions of 150 psi (1.03 MPa) operating pressure, 2000 mg/L NaCl solution, 25℃ temperature, pH 7.0 ± 0.5, and 15% recovery rate.

Notes:

  • Each membrane element may have ±15% variation of permeate flow.
  • Minimum Rejection Rate: 99.4%

Operating Limits

  • Maximum operating pressure: 600 psi (4.14 MPa)
  • Maximum feedwater temperature: 45 ℃
  • Maximum inlet flow rate: 17 m³/h
  • Maximum concentration of free chlorine: 0.1 mg/L
  • Maximum pressure drop per element: 15 psi (0.1 MPa)
  • Allowed pH range for feedwater in operation: 2-11
  • Allowed pH range for chemical cleaning: 1-13
  • Maximum feedwater flow SDI₁₅: 5

Mechanical / Hydraulic

  • Packing carton (L:W:H): 1080×216×232 mm
  • Connector material number: 3.02.09.0006

Important Information

  • Dry membrane elements are shipped without preservation solution. Wet membrane elements use 1.0% sodium bisulfite (with 10% propylene glycol antifreeze added in winter) as a preservation solution for storage.
  • Dry membrane elements must be kept wet after soaking. Wet membrane elements not in use for extended periods require preservation solution.
  • For first-time use, flush the membrane element for 15-25 minutes at low pressure, then for 60-90 minutes at high pressure (water flow should not be less than 50% of the system design flow).
  • Permeate and concentrated water from the first hour of initial operation should be discharged.
  • The operating limits and guidelines provided are part of the limitations for the three-year warranty.
  • The addition of any chemicals that may affect the membrane element during storage and operation is prohibited.
