Summary

Product identification

The ULP1812-75 is an Ultra Low Pressure (ULP Series) reverse osmosis membrane element. It is independently developed by VONTRON.

Application

This RO element is designed for the treatment of low-salinity water resources such as tap water and well water. It operates under extra-low pressure and is suitable for:

  • Residential water purifiers
  • Hospital and laboratory water purification devices
  • Centralized water supply
  • Underground water and other water sources

Product Performance

ModelPermeate Flow GPD (m³/d)Rejection Rate (%)Min. Rejection (%)
ULP1812-7575 (0.28)9896

Testing Conditions:

  • Testing Pressure: 60 psi (0.41 MPa)
  • Temperature of Testing Solution: 25℃
  • Concentration of Testing Solution (NaCl): 250 ppm
  • pH of Testing Solution: 6.5~8.5
  • Recovery of Single Element: 15 %

Note:

  • Each membrane element may have ±15% variation of permeate flow.
  • Rejection Rate may have ±2% variation.

Important Information

  • Preservation:
    • Dry membrane elements leave the factory without preservation solution. Once soaked, they should always be maintained wet.
    • Wet membrane elements contain 1.0% sodium bisulfite as a preservation solution. In winter, 10% propylene glycol antifreeze is added. They are vacuum packaged.
    • If wet membrane elements are not used for a long time, a preservation solution is needed to soak the elements.
  • Initial Use/Flushing:
    • For first-time use, flush at low pressure for 15-25 minutes (not suitable for overnight soaking).
    • Subsequently, flush at high pressure for 60-90 minutes (water flow should not be less than 50% of the system design water flow).
    • The permeate water and concentrated water produced within the first hour of initial operation must be discharged.
  • Warranty: The operating limits and guidelines in this document are part of the limitations for the three-year membrane element warranty.
  • Chemicals: The addition of any chemicals that may affect the membrane element during storage and operation is prohibited. Vontron Technology will not be liable for consequences from their use.
  • Further Details: Refer to the Product Manual for detailed instructions on installation, commissioning, storage, and transportation.
