Summary
Product identification
ULP2010-100 Ultra Low Pressure Membrane Elements - ULP Series
Application
The ULP2010-100 RO element is designed for the treatment of low-salinity water resources such as tap water, well water, and centralized water supply. It is applicable to water purifying devices for:
- Residential use
- Hospital and laboratory water purification devices
- Underground water sources
Product Performance
| Model | Permeate Flow GPD(m³/d) | Rejection Rate (%) | Min. Rejection (%) |
|---|---|---|---|
| UL2010-100 | 100(0.38) | 98 | 96 |
Testing Conditions:
- Testing Pressure: 60 psi (0.41 MPa)
- Temperature of Testing Solution: 25 ℃
- Concentration of Testing Solution (NaCl): 250 ppm
- pH of Testing Solution: 6.5~8.5
- Recovery of Single Element: 15 %
Note:
- Each membrane element may have ±15% variation of permeate flow.
- Rejection Rate may vary by ±2%.
- Product performance may vary under different conditions.
Operating Guidelines
- Preservation: Dry membrane elements have no preservation solution upon leaving the factory. Wet membrane elements use 1.0% sodium bisulfite as preservation solution; in winter, 10% propylene glycol antifreeze is added. Both are vacuum packaged.
- Storage: Dry membrane elements must be kept wet after initial soaking. Wet membrane elements, if unused for a long time, require a preservation solution.
- Initial Flush: When used for the first time, flush for 15-25 minutes at low pressure (do not soak overnight), then flush for 60-90 minutes at high pressure (water flow not less than 50% of system design flow).
- Initial Discharge: The permeate and concentrated water produced during the first hour of operation must be discharged.
- Warranty: The operating limits and guidelines provided are part of the limitations for the three-year membrane element warranty.
- Chemicals: The addition of any chemicals that may affect the membrane element during storage and operation is prohibited.
- Manual: Refer to the Product Manual for detailed information on installation, commissioning, storage, and transportation.
